On the last night of 2013 I sit here and think back over the
past year at the Harare Spca. There have been good days and bad . There are
countless stories of neglect, abuse and cruelty. There are also stories of
incredible rescues, adoptions and animals saved from euthanasia just in the
nick of time . People have opened their homes to a variety of domestic animals
in need. We have found loving families who have taken home the good , the bad
and the ugly. We have taken giant steps towards the improvement of our
facilities and services. We have shed tears over the loss of our friends, the
animals and sighed with relief when compassionate individuals have
extended a helping hand and made the impossible ,possible. To sum it up, it has
been a roller coaster ride with highs and lows.
There are not enough words to say THANK YOU to those who
have been there to help us. You know who you are.
